Are you as clueless on British road signs as 79% of UK drivers?
It’s been a while since we took our driving theory tests.
We won’t bore you with the number of years, and we're hazy on how many it’s been now anyway.
Let’s just say, we’d be tempted to give the Highway Code at least a once-over if we ever needed to take the test again, but we like to think I can make our way around the roads pretty safely regardless.
Looks like we're not the only ones who are potentially a little over-confident though.
A number plates provider, Click4reg, recently asked 1,220 active drivers across the UK to decipher 12 common road signs – and the results were somewhat alarming.

Because it turns out only 46% know what a “turn left” sign looks like.
Worse still, only 38% were able to recognise a “no entry” sign (genuinely).
Now we’d like to think we’d recognise both of those in an instant, but there was one sign on the list that we might have struggled with.
Reckon you can spot the one we're referring to? Or fancy testing yourself?
Having read these numbers, we’d love a little reassurance that there are at least some drivers out there who’ll “keep left” when they’re meant to.
So, please, let us know how you get on!
