Supercar equals super coffee?
We’re all well aware of the cost of living crisis by now…
It’s everywhere you look, whether it’s the price of petrol, energy bills, or simply the cost of your weekly food shop.
But recently I read an article about how the hospitality sector is starting to struggle as people cut back on the ‘nice to haves’.
It means that instead of popping out to the local coffee shop, people are making their own at home, and instead of buying lunch when they’re working, they’re making it the night before.
But here’s a question, would you pay £50 for a cup of coffee?
I suspect the answer is a resounding no…
But what if I told you it was a Bugatti coffee from their very own espresso bar?

Yep, a Bugatti dealership in Mayfair (which some of you may recognise as the most expensive property on the monopoly board) really is pushing your bank balance to the brink with a cup of coffee for more than 10 times the price you’d pay in your local coffee shop.
Of course, it’s served in a Bugatti armchair and in a way, it’s a smart tactic.
After all, if you can afford to spend that much on a cup of coffee, you’re more likely to be in the market for one of their cars…
And it probably deters any tyre-kickers.
Would you pay that much for a cup of Driving Monitor coffee?! Or is it completely out of touch?
