An office AND a car… surely not?
As any fleet owner will know, mixing vehicles with work can be incredibly successful.
But there are also challenges involved and the reliability and safety of those vehicles is paramount to the success of your business.
Well, at the Consumer Electronics Show, we might just have seen the introduction of a whole new sector of fleet vehicles…
Because the Italdesign Climb-E is both a vehicle and a ‘static living module’.

And not just that, but it’s designed to work in urban areas by taking people directly to apartments and offices in skyscrapers.

It’s been created with top technicians from the elevator manufacturer Schindler in conjunction with the Polytechnic University of Turin.
And the idea is to feature a full interior design including sofas and office space that can be used on the road or at home… so you can work from wherever you are.
If you’re wondering how it moves and still maintains its sleek look, it’s because the wheels, which are driven by electric power, are hidden in square boxes.
Well, I say sleek design – I’ll let you be the judge of that.
I have to admit, I’m not convinced that a combined office and vehicle hybrid will ever really work and I’m not entirely sure how big the market is…
What do you think, is the future a fleet of mobile offices on the road?!
