Part Car, Part Musical Instrument?
The idea of vehicles having a dual purpose has been around for a long time.
James Bond’s amphibious car in the 1977 film, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Back to the Future’s time travelling DeLorean are two of pop culture’s biggest examples.
And there have been plenty of ideas, innovations and attempts over the years…
But a car that’s also a musical instrument is a new one on me.
Then again, it’s probably a dual purpose that requires a lot less work to make it a success than being able to fly, time travel or travel through water.

I’m not sure it’ll be making an appearance on stage with Taylor Swift or Adele any time soon but it’s certainly innovative!
And when you think about it, there’s a level of skill to making something like a Toyota Corolla into a musical instrument… and it doesn’t sound too bad either.
There’s some similarities between a finely tuned musical instrument and a finely tuned vehicle, too.
If you think of just how many parts there are to make an orchestra tick, it’s pretty similar to how many different parts all work together to propel a vehicle forwards.
Plus, watching someone make music from a car is just pretty funny, let’s be honest.
I’m not recommending that you start a band by turning up with your car to the audition but it's a reminder of just how much can be done with a vehicle…
