Don’t Have A Cow, Man

There’s nothing quite like the chaos of animals out on the road.

I’m thinking of sheep finding their way out of a farmer’s field, cows taking a nap on a country lane and a bull having a ride in the passenger seat.

Okay, that last one’s probably the odd one out…

But that’s exactly what happened when officers in Nebraska received the unusual call telling them that a bull was riding shotgun.

It takes bullish to a whole new level.

Now, you might think that it was sat in the back of a giant pickup truck or hitched in a trailer – but you’d be wrong.

Because the bull was literally riding up front in the passenger seat, albeit the driver had pretty much sawn the front left side of the car out to fit his animal companion in.

I’ll be honest, it’s a first for me.

After all, the sheer weight of a bull (a literal tonne) could cause havoc with the average car’s suspension, never mind the strain on the tyres, brakes, and engine.

A dog popping its head out of the window and enjoying the wind in its ears is one thing, but I’d probably steer clear of anything larger.

Even a sheep would be pushing it – and think of the mess.
