A Car Wash… With A Difference
There are some things in life that I really don’t enjoy doing, but they’re a necessity. Doing the weekly food shop, vacuuming the house, and the big one – washing the car (x 50 if you're managing a fleet).
However, a solution may have emerged – washing your car while driving.
In what can only be described as an ill-advised stunt, the folks at Garage 54 (a YouTube channel) decided to wash a Chevy Camaro while driving the van in front.
Both vehicles were on the move and the van's windows and doors were open so they could cover the Chevy in soap and get the power washer on it.

Now, they did this from the relative safety of a racetrack, but I can only imagine the carnage that would ensue if this happened on the M1.
It goes without saying that safety wasn’t their first concern, and I’d stick to the traditional power washing while stationary approach.
Incredibly, they managed to wash the car successfully despite having A LOT of difficulty getting the soap to actually land on the car while moving at high speed.
Thankfully they decided against trying to dry the Chevy with a chamois cloth, opting instead to let the muscle car fly around the track for another lap to dry off.
Now, I’ve seen pretty much everything you can think of when it comes to driver safety – but this was a new one for me.
