Fancy Owning A Literal Tank?
If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably wondered what it’s like to drive a tank.
I mean, it looks pretty cool, right?
Well, if you’ve got enough dough, you might be able to get your hands on one at auction – and it’s a pretty special one.
Because the Ripsaw tank from The Fate Of The Furious and GI Joe movies is heading to auction.
But if you fancy doing your best Vin Diesel, Channing Tatum or Bruce Willis impression, it might set you back a fair bit…
The auction estimate is well into six figures.
There are some pretty strict rules around it, though.
You won’t be able to drive it on public roads, for obvious reasons, which means you’ll need to have a fair bit of private land or space where you can get out and about in your new tank.
Complete with a 6.6-litre diesel engine and automatic transmission, it’s a hefty vehicle – which makes the 60mph speeds it reached in the movies even more impressive.
It’s definitely one of the cooler vehicles I’ve seen head to auction but it feels like the sort of impulse purchase I’d make if I had more money than sense…
