Nobody likes it when things go wrong.
And it’s especially frustrating when things go wrong with vehicles – after all, it’s costly, makes things difficult, and takes a whole lot of planning to sort out.
It’s a particular problem for fleets.
The global supply chain issues have only made it more likely that things will go wrong, and long delivery delays are having a BIG knock-on effect.
So, Mini has come up with a unique solution to help people pass the time as they wait patiently for their new car to turn up…
A full-sized Mini jigsaw puzzle.
That might seem like an oxymoron but Mini really is sending out the puzzle, which has been officially named the “we're-working-hard-to-get-you-your-car, waiting-is-the-worst, in-the-meantime-happy-puzzling Mini puzzle."
I know, it’s the catchiest name we’ve ever heard.

Now, it’s a bit outside the box (pun intended), but it does highlight just how big the issues are in the supply chain right now.
Because they’re SO prevalent that Mini’s marketing department have come up with a quirky freebie to keep their customers sweet while they wait.
We should note that not every customer will receive a giant puzzle, although everyone should receive a normal-sized jigsaw.
It’s interesting to see how one of the biggest motor companies is dealing with the challenges in the current landscape, and it brings the focus back to how to deal with replacement cycles with the significant lead times on new vehicles…
But a long-term solution might be some way off yet.
