I Think I Forgot My Engine…

There’s nothing worse than getting into the car, van or lorry and realising you’ve forgotten something.

Whether it’s your phone, wallet, keys, coffee or something equally important, that moment of realisation always hits like a stone.

But it’s not just the obvious things people forget – Uber, the ride-sharing taxi firm, has released a compilation of some of the strangest items people have left behind in their cars.

And one of them is an entire Jeep engine.

I’m not entirely sure why the engine was in the back of a taxi in the first place… or how you’d manage to forget something so important… and big.

As you can imagine, some of the items are a little ‘out there’, including one passenger who requested that a leaf “that is much needed” be returned, as well as someone managing to forget their pet turtle.

I’ll admit that I’m prone to bouts of extreme forgetfulness, but some of these items really do take the biscuit.

I can only imagine the look on the driver’s face as he went to tidy up the vehicle at the end of a shift, only to be met with a Harry Potter wand, a poster of Hillary Clinton, a jar of oysters, and a toupee.

Still, the engine has to be the most bizarre item on the list!
